I found the Book at the Friends of the Whittier Library “Used Book Store” and truly enjoyed the book
In an example of how the Cosmic Universe works
“The Chase 1947 “story came up and the last Paragraph talked about the Tenor Sax Duo between Wardell Gray & Dexter Gordon
I truly recommend the Book has it has already provide leads to new shows and new insights into Southern California.
There is the Tie in with playing “Forgotten Music on 78 RPM Records”
I could not find (and did not want to wait to find) the 78 rpm But I was able to find the CD
And hear the song behind the story
I do not claim to be a music expert but I thought what an idea to take two sources and do a show about it without comment and let the stories and the song stand on their own
Thank You to Noelle Sullivan (if you listen to this show I would like to invite you to join me on another show)
