S3productions Visit to USS Lucid MSO 458
Friday Morning July 17, 2015 I revisited the USS Lucid in Stockton California to see all the progress that has been made. I had the privilege to do a show with David Rajkovich, President: Stockton Historical Maritime Museum and John Van Huystee Chief Instructor, San Joaquin Building Futures Academy.
WE spent about an hour talking about the ship , telling stories about old Sailor’s good times and not so good times onboard Ships. John had taken some pictures of me in the Now Empty CIC (and Future Museum exhibit display area) I am not exercising I was pointing out where things were located on the three sweeps I served on. I just want to say THANK YOU to both gentlemen for letting me visit and relive some great memories.

The Stockton Historical Maritime Museum has acquired the former USS Lucid MSO-458, and a collaboration agreement was established with the San Joaquin County Office of Education to join with the museum in restoring this historic vessel as a floating museum ship with direct historical relevance to the diverse shipbuilding history in Stockton.
