I grew up the majority of my childhood being by a single Mom or shall I say by my mom only. ( My mom did it for 12 years by her self)
Yes in the beginning we had the visits from my dad when he wasnt in jail or when he remembered he had kids.
But My mom did it all alone, she was the bread winner, the caregiver, the provider etc.
I have been unlucky enough to witness this again thru my Cousin as he is the the only Parent worth being mentioned in his childrens life. But He has been lucky enough to find a stong loving woman who wants to help him, be there for him, who loves him and the kids. I hope he realises that sonner then later and makes her his wife before she gets bored of waiting.
& then I see a few of my friends dealing with DEAD BEATS...
I dont understand alot of the way things work anymore? The court system is failing our children & failing our hardworking single parents.
WHy is that 1 parent has to be the responsible one? The hard worker? The caregiver, the mommy & the daddy
Because the other parent is a SCREW UP?
I have heard some really messed up things.....
HOW DARE A CERTAIN DEAD BEAT DAD, take someones Pention money.., You wasnt even there for her, or the kids. YOU MONEY HUNGRY JERK.
You petion for rights to see the kids, and have them for the over nights and have the nerve to take the kids to your new girlfriends house and have the poor kids sleep on the floor while you two have a bed to sleep on? YOU ARE SELF CENTERED! taking money from your childrens mouth. How could you do that to the mother of your childen?
I feel sorry for your parents cause your a grown man living in your parents house, but aint got your stuff together that you have to live off mommy and daddy. WHAT A LOOSER
Oh and I havent forgot about the POOR EXCUSE of for WOMAN.
Selfish rude BEEOUCH! How dare you try to parent from afar. I am so tired of hearing about you putting your 2 cents in about kids that you dont even support. see or only call when you remmeber they exsist

Then you leave again!!! How many times is this now you leave my nephews and neice.... 8 times now??? How many time do you set them up just to hurt them again and again. If your comming to visit be honest and say itys a VISIT quit using them and my cousin for a place to stay for a ATM and excuse to bide you a place to stay for a a few weeks.
Now you call when you need money, or when things are bad or when you need a shoulder to cry on. Or even worse when you want to pretend your a MOM!
Grow up, we are not interested in your games. You are not a mother as far as I am concerned you were the kids incubator, a screwed up one that drank while you pregnant might I add..
Making promises to the kids such as your comming to visit, or they are going to visit you. Yes they can have cell phones.. Who do you think you are you to make such promisses???????????????????????
You sure in the hell dont pay child support has never paid child support. You dont even send birthday presents or xmas gifts and when you are around during your daughters birthday last time you spent the entire time at the party on your CELL PHONE why did you both comming?????

My Cousin is a good father who works hard and loves his kids so much he puts aside his own happiness for theirs... & then you call and screw with his mind and then puts your needs before the kids all because you use the WORDS I Love you I miss you I want to be your WIFE AGAIN, SCREW YOU, YOU SELF CENTERED PLOTTING POOR EXCUSE FOR A WOMAN!

I just think its even worse when it is a woman. Cause I grew with the notion in my head Mommas baby , Daddy maybe. Because Mommys are always there & Daddys pick and choose.
I guess I will need to tell my self a new notion cause of these DEAD beat parents come in both sexes now!!!!!

I think that every county in the US should have a website available to parents that get stiffed on their court ordered child support. Unfortunately, here in Florida its just as hard to get the ball rolling on ANY type of criminal charge. The deadbeat parent normally has to appear in front of the judge on contempt charges a few times before they even try to incarcerate them. Most cases are over a decade old before the law catches up with them! In the meantime the other parent is left in a bad spot and we the tax payers end up flipping the bill. Anyway, our family has put matters into our own hands and created a website dedicated to helping find our deadbeat parent and bringing him to justice http://Whatukno.com. Its a shame that we had to do all this work our selfs. Having a county website would get a lot more exposure and maybe some results.
