Show hosts and professional artists, Mike Dubisch, Wade Zahares, and Carolyn Watson Dubisch talk with members of the art world. For this month's show our first guest will be artist Jason Soles.  Jason Soles is a game designer and self-taught sculptor who has been the lead developer for Privateer Press' award-winning miniatures game Warmachine. In 1999, he co-founded the Seattle-based dark arts collective Catalyst Studios with visionary painter Ann Koi. He has a BA from The Evergreen State College with a focus on script-writing and film production. He continues to live and work in Washington.

Joining us next we'll talk to illustrator Chris Van Dusen.  Chris studied fine art at The University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth and graduated with a BFA in 1982. He then worked a part-time job at a magazine for teenagers. Eventually he started drawing cartoons and illustrations for the magazine and his career as an illustrator was born. For more than ten years he worked as a freelance illustrator specializing in art for kids. Illustrating for Nickelodeon, Family Fun and Disney Adventures. His first book, “Down to the Sea with Mr. Magee” which was published in 2000. I’ve been busy writing and illustrating children’s books ever since.

He now lives in a beautiful, little town on the coast of Maine with his wife Lori, my two sons, Ethan and Tucker and a yellow lab named Pearl.

Also joining us is comic book artist Matt Brundage from Eugene, Oregon.  Matt is the artist of the Dragons of Blizzard Island comic book series, a riveting children's fantasy comic from Big Bang Toys.  Matt has also worked for Warner Bros Studio, freelanced and taught.

Tune in for a window into the world of art!!
