Pride is Over; and things will never be the same.

Remembering Kyle Scanlon

Kyle Scanlon left us a year ago - an activist, researcher, and front-line worker, Scanlon worked with agencies like the 519 and Sherbourne Health Centre to develop programs to address the needs of Toronto’s trans community. Scanlon was the former executive director of the Lesbian Gay Bi Trans Youth Line,  the first openly transgender man to be the executive director of an LGBTQ agency in Canada.

ROYNATION wants to thank Dash Dwyer for for making this segment happen and bringing together Kyle's friends Levy Reisz, Janet Knights and brother Rick Smith to talk about Kyle and what he meant to them on this anniversary of him taking his life.

CALGARY! FLOODS, QUEERS, Oh My.

Also, we'll be talking to Calgarians Kari McQueen, Jessica Dollard and James Demers about what they saw, where they were and what they've been doing since the flood hit.  And especially what the flood's impact has been on the LGBTQ community.
