REMEMBERING DEC 6th and talking to people FIGHTING to make sure it won't happen again. Also we'll be talking about Uganda's "Kill the Gays" bill and what people are doing to fight it here in Canada.

December 6th will be the 23rd Anniversary of the Montreal Massacre. On that day, Twenty-five-year-old Marc Lépine, shot twenty-eight people before killing himself.

After claiming that he was "fighting feminism"he killed fourteen women and injured ten other women and four men in just under twenty minutes before turning the gun on himself

SHIRLEY GILLETT, an organizer at WOMEN WON'T FORGET will talk about the annual vigil to commemorate the women who were shot on Dec. 6 and all women who vow not to forget these women and all women who live with violence, who have died due to violence and those who have survived

WENDY CUKIER, is the co-founder of the COALITION for GUN CONTROL, an organization born out of the need to address gun control in Canada because of the threat guns pose. She will be talking about gun control in Canada.

MICHAEL PAYTON will be talking about Uganda's "KILL the GAYS" Bill and the protest his organiztion, The CENTRE for INVESTIGATION led at the Ugandan High Commission in Ottawa against the bill.
