Discussing hairstylists networking to make things happen for child in need.

Guest: Mahogany Brown and Yvonne Lee

Mahogany Brown; hair stylist, educator and makeup artist. I was an Educator with Paul Mitchell the School Portland where I came in counter with a Little Girl full of life and love......but battling cancer. Her Mother was a former Student of mine who was determined to finish school inspite of the challenges she and her family faced. Laureene has been fighting this diease most of her life, and she still smiles. Last night Laureens Mother told me that her now 5yo Daughter is out of remission and about to undergo experimental testing to prolong her life. With all that is going on in her little body; this child just wants a new wig! I have dedicated my time and skill to constructing this child a new wig. I am asking my fellow stylists to help me to help this child with a new wig. I need someone to donate 8oz of premium hair so I can construct this crown, I will send a statement or receipt for tax purposes. Lets show some love to a child in need

It is with an incredibly heavy heart that I have to post this. We got a call from the oncology department at Doernbecher and they are letting us know that Lauranne's cancer is back. Tomorrow we will be meeting with the doctor to discuss our options. In the meantime, Lauranne is still feeling well. Please send up some love and prayers on the team up there so that we can choose the best course of treatment for a cure for her
