Inventing

I'm just a Gadget Man, one of a million guys out there who look at things and 'see' ways to make it better. In the seeing, I'm compelled to build.

It's pretty wild, and pretty lonely doing this. The accomplishments, the successes, seem to always bring a stir from any audience, but the process itself, THAT's where it's a lonely job.

I once saw a commercial that changed my life. We (my wife and I) were looking into putting RFID triggers on our new gates. Finding the technology was wide open to the high-tech thief, we decided not to use it. During the process, Visa began airing its "Wave and go with the VIsa PayWave!" commercials.

It was an 'Oh my God!' moment for me. Having a background in guidance control systems, I 'saw' radio waves being broadcast from the cash register and-the bad part-this lady's Visa card answering with all her account information. I look into my wallet and lo and behold! "Visa" is stamped on my cards.

I went online and began a search to see what the hackers were doing. I quickly found they had broken this technology wide open and were sharing the techniques they developed widely on the world-wide-web.

This was last march. I immediately began looking for a way to protect myself. What I found were a bunch of products out there touting themselves as "RF-Shields". I bought some, looking for some protection for our accounts. What I got was a pile of stuff that didn't work or was of such poor quality I wouldn't even bother with the test.

After about a thousand dollars of wasted efforts, I decided to build one that does. The result is The Armadillo Dollar.

You can find it. We've now started a company dedicated to getting this into the hands of the people.

It seems that my inventing has led us into a new world. My wife has some great ideas, too. Coupling our stuff, we have become Dot-Com millionaires.

Well, sort of.

Anyway the point is that anyone can build anything, they just have to be able to 'see' it first.

Check out a free site I'm building now that teaches you how to save money on your gas-maybe a LOT of money!

Did I say it was all FREE? I know what you're thinking. Nothing is free. Well, I want you to sign in and join with me, so we can continue to work alone, only together.
