Aaron Joys Roman Midnight Music Rock & Metal News Notes

United States, EnglishMusic

Art reflects life, both intentionally & not. With that idea in mind music critic Aaron Joy takes interesting news headlines from the week in the rock/metal world & spins it to look at society at large, via his dry wit & sometimes cutting insights ... trying to be the Bill O'Reilly of music news ... or Jon Stewart! Most of the episodes also feature musical clips. The only news show that looks at society through music & the only metal show hosted by a gay libertarian. **** "News Notes" broadcasted every Saturday night from Sept 25, 2010 through April 2, 2011 with 28 episodes. From February to the end it also simultaneously videotaped the episodes for youtube. Aaron thanks all those who listened to the podcast. You can find out more about why the podcast ended via the final 'tell all' episode, though the series didn't continue on youtube as stated would happen in the final episode. Though the podcast ended feel free to continue to contact Aaron through this site. **** Aaron Joy is an author, blogger & biographer of guitarist Al Pitrelli of Megadeth, music critic, electronic musician known as Blank Faced Prophet & owner of Manhattan's Roman Midnight Music indie record label. Visit his other podcasts: blogtalkradio's "Roman Midnight Music CD Reviews & Interviews" (bi-monthly show looking at unique/interesting rock/metal via reviews, interviews & clips) based on his popular CD reviews blog www.romanmidnightmusic.blogspot.com& "The World Of Trans-Siberian Orchestra" (weekly show looking at everything TSO/Savatage through discussion, music, history).
