Our show focus this evening will be on ‘Using Top Job Search Tips for LinkedIn and more’, the 0.7 percent drop in Michigan’s unemployment rate, Michigan’s new Governor Rick Snyder’s (R) State of the State Address on January 19th, Representative Jesse Jackson, Jr. (D-IL) call for a peaceful protest for job seeking 99ers, our upcoming project to work with to place ‘America Back to Work’ and the latest in re-employment news.

 

Our show will feature two outstanding this week Susan Whitcomb –author of the Job Search Magic, CEO and Founder of TheAcademies.com and Cheryl Palmer President of Call to Career Certified Career Coach.

 

The show is honored have Blog Talk Radio choose to ‘Feature’ the weekly podcast that is focused on returning America’s Job Seekers back to work in 2011. To date, “Reach Out Job Search” Radio Show has received over 50,000 live and archived listens since our first show in July 2010. 

 

Starting at 6:15pm, our first guest will be Susan Whitcomb, who will discuss Effective Job Search Tips.  Ms. Whitcomb is the author of seven careers books, including The Twitter Job Search Guide, Resume Magic, Interview Magic, and Job Search Magic.

 

In addition, she is CEO and Founder of The Academies.com, which offers certification training in Career Coaching, Job Search Strategy, LinkedIn Career Strategy, Twitter Career Strategy, and more. 

 

Our second guest beginning at 7:00pm will be Cheryl Palmer who will discuss in-depth ‘The Right Way Find Your Next Job with Linked-In’. Ms. Palmer is a certified executive career coach and a certified professional resume writer and is President of Call to Career, a career coaching and resume writing firm.  

 

She has been featured on the Wall Street Journal, CNN, MarketWatch, The Ladders, ExecuNet, and Yahoo HotJobs. Cheryl was also a guest on a radio show entitled How to Find a Job Fast hosted by Chris Russell of Secrets of the Job Hunt where she discussed tips for finding employment more quickly in this economic downturn.  

 

In addition, she was a guest on WMOV where she discussed networking for your career with host Greg Gack on the radio.

 

Ms. Palmer widely sought after social media program for executives aids them with reducing the amount of time it takes to land a new position.  Also she conducts webinars on a regular basis social networking.
