Montalvo, a Worcester born leader was born on November 11, 1984. No one knew how much of a mark he would make not only in the streets but in the music industry as well. Losing his mother at a young age he had a lot to bare on his back, but with his strength & determination he still managed to get through with the love from the streets. Growing up in some of the hardest areas in Worcester, Montalvo began to make a name for himself; a name that would not only be known locally but nationally. For only being in the music industry for a short time his first mixtape release in 2009 “The Maverick” became a known mixtape in Massachusetts. Montalvo’s recent loss of a loved one “Vanessa A. Dunn” on December 24th 2009 made an impact on him & his new mixtape called “The Maverick II: New year, New Life” His new mixtape expected to be released by mid march of 2010, is a different style than what he’s used to but he was determined enough to embrace his 2010 mixtape with a new outlook on life & let his struggles, losses, trials & tribulations all live through his music. Having shows booked all over the MA & RI areas, Montalvo has managed to still be true to who he is & keep his music & head above water. Montalvo’s music is not just music it’s a LIFESTYLE.
