Rockers Television - Over 30 Years Of Reggae Music

Earl Chin is America’s leading reggae deejay and veejay. For over twenty-five years, his legendary television show “Rockers” was uninterruptedly on the air, broadcasting out of New York City in the Tri-State area to millions of music fans. It was the first reggae music television series - and the most authentic one. After Bob Marley told Earl to bring reggae to American television, Earl was the first media personality to bring Bob to a mass audience via TV in the late 1970’s, and did the same for such stars as Peter Tosh, Burning Spear, Toots and the Maytals, Gregory Isaacs, Shabba Ranks, Shaggy, Beenie Man, Capleton, Buju Banton, Jacob Miller, Rita Marley and many others.
