April Robins kicks off the fall season with her guest Velda Brotherton, author of “Fly With the Mourning Dove,” on Monday, August 31 at 3 p.m. Central. Most of Velda’s books and stories, in recent years, have been based on historical happenings, whether fiction or nonfiction. Many are stories of pioneers, who settled in the Ozarks of Arkansas, filled with hope, fear, happiness and love.
