This week I will be talking with Clay Bowman. Clay will be talking about his life without a Father and how mission has helped the Fatherless and the hearts of men and women throughout the United States. "Born in Memphis TN., spent 13 years growing up there. Moved to San Antonio Texas in 1984, attended Tom C. Clark High School. Attended Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. Received a B.S. in Hospital Administration. Began working in the restaurant business when I was 15, which helped me get through college as I held 2 jobs in the business. Went to work for Don Pablos Mexican Kitchen in Ohio and Michigan where I was part of a team that opened 80 new stores in 3 years across the country. Moved back to Dallas, Texas in 1997, where I had lost everything, and re-established myself as a National Sales Manager for a small family chemical company. I helped lead sales growth there, and in 1 year we went from a 700,00k direct shipping business, to a full mass customization and delivery model exceeding 1.7 million in sales our first year out of the gate. In 1999 I went to work for Command Alkon Incorporated, an International Software House specializing in full systems integration for the construction and materials industry, where I have become an expert in process control automation sales. I currently work as an Area Sales Manager for Command Alkon where I have been employed for 11 years. I travel all over North America managing a territory that stretches from Alaska & Western Canada to Arkansas & Mississippi. I met my wife Shannon Bowman on the internet in 1998, and we were married 6 months later on August 21, 1999. We have 3 boys; Clayton (9), Camden (6) & Copper Lee (4). We currently live in Jonesboro, AR. where we have been for the past 3 years."
