Listen at 12 noon, PDT,  this Friday, April 27th to hear Fran Cesarone share her writing.  Fran says:

1. What is writing for me?

I have always loved to write.  As a young girl there was a time when I had a dozen pen-pals.  I even wrote a fictitious script for The Tonight Show!  As an adult, I have written to educate, persuade, and entertain.  Writing helps me get clarity around thoughts, ideas, and feelings.  As a humorist, writing is a tool through which I can enhance my own life with laughter and amusement, as well as the lives of my readers and audience members.

2. What are the W R I T E  O N ! workshops to me?

The workshops add discipline to my writing efforts.  I fulfill my intention to write and be "in the moment" with my writing.  I allow myself to write whatever wants to come out, unedited, and I am often surprised by the outcome.  I set aside any ideas about what's right and wrong, correct form, etc., and just let my thoughts and words emerge.  Receiving feedback from you and other group members has been very worthwhile because it helps me understand how my writing is perceived and interpreted by others.  I really love the "sharing time" when I get to listen to what others have composed.  Every contribution is wonderful and the diversity in styles, subject matter, and format adds so much richness to the overall experience.
