Immigrants often live in fear that they don’t have a voice when it comes to crimes done to them.

Come join us as we journey from the life as she knew it in Saigon, then to America where her life blurred into a relationship that led to the horror of domestic violence. Michelle Vo is going to share her story, her journey, to a hope for a better life in America; and, despite the hurdles she encountered in the domestic violence relationship, she will demonstrate how it is possible to live that better life.

Today Michelle is a case manager at the Boat People SOS, who work with victims of domestic violence that are immigrants, helping them understand that they don’t have to live their lives in a domestic violence.

Host Kathryn Krastin is here to provide a resource for survivors to tell their stories in their own words – not some contrived form that fits typical media agenda and/or demographics. RLRN,Real Life Radio Network,Kathryn Krastin Connect with Kathryn on www.RealLifeRadioNetwork.com
