Hey everyone!

Ok, here is the "skinny" for some new shows I'm planning.

"Late Night NewsTalk", will just be "NewsTalk". 

Right now I think I'm going to keep it on Sunday, but broadcasting it at an earlier time.  The six month anniversary show might be moving to a new date/time though.  I'm planning on taking a few weeks off from hosting shows in August and want to make sure I have a decent show in the archive and playing on my players around the web, so if tomorrow's show is typical just me running my yap with no callers stuff, then maybe I'll do the anniversary show right behind it so people hit that one instead in the archive. 

Other new shows I'm planning.....

"What If Moments in History"

I will take a major historical event, such as RFK's assassination for example, talk about it for a bit, give some background, then, talk about the what if's.  In this particular case, I might talk about what if he hadn't been assassination, and how things might have been different then, and what might be different today.  It's a totally different idea, I haven't seen it done so it should defiantly be interesting.  Time and date not set, I imagine it will vary.

"Tuesday Night Quarterback"

Will be on Tuesday nights during Football (NFL) season.  This show will basically be a call in discussion, and my thoughts on the games the previous week.  This one will be on Tuesday nights, but with my work schedule I'm sure the time will vary on this one as well.


While I'm taking a break from hosting shows, I will be hanging out on BTR, networking, and getting to better know some of my fellow hosts so if ya see me hanging around somewhere, be sure to say hello!

Well, as you can see, I have all the shows for July lined up, including a 6 month anniversary special to celebrate my 6 months broadcasting on blogtalkradio. 

I'm thinking of making some changes to my programming come August.  I think that after the July 27th broadcast of Late Night NewsTalk, that particular program might go on hiatus for a bit.  Not that I don't enjoy doing the show, it's just that to me, it's starting to get a little stale.  I know that the time and date that I do the show plays a role in this, but I haven't had any callers, and relatively few listeners compared to what the show had a couple of months ago.  While a news/discussion program on Sunday night seemed like a novel idea at first, I haven't gotten the response I previously enjoyed with it.  To do a show like NewsTalk on Sunday night is a great way to get used to the BTR format, not to mention that I have had some great callers, and made some friends in the process,  but like I said in one of my earlier blogs, I'm ready to branch out a bit and try something different.

So......

Starting in August, NewsTalk will likely be on hiatus, unless I decide to try it on a different night.  If nothing else I might continue to do the show, just maybe not every week like I have been.

With the start of Football (NFL) season, I am planning to do a football oriented program, tentavly called Tuesday Night Quarterback.   This program will discuss the previous weeks games, and if I decide to do the "NFL Pool" on another website that I participate in the forums on, like I've done in previous years, maybe I'll use this as a platform for announcing the results of the pool, before posting it in that particular week's thread.  I'm still not sure whether I want to include this aspect of it though, since I haven't decided whether or not I'll even do the pool this year. 

Still in the works though, stay tuned, favorite me so you'll know when the new show comes online, and any future broadcasts of NewsTalk!
