Maybe 2 hours is a little long for a show without a co-host or callers....lol

I think I'll be moving to an hour and a half starting with my next show.

This show is a General news magazine, the phone lines are open for listener comments and a discussion of current events. We discuss the news of the day, and comment on it.

I think that starting this week, I'm gonna branch out a bit.  I think I'm going to stick with the news format, but at the same time let the show go off in a couple of other different directions, and see where it goes.

Nothing ventured nothing gained right?

Sorry if anyone was looking for me, I just had some stuff going on and really wasn't up to doing a show last Sunday.

I will be back this week, I think I even might do a primetime show but even if I don't I will be back at my regular time this Sunday.  Favorite me and stay tuned. 

I just spent the last hour or so tweaking the introduction to the show.  If you heard the last show I did, it's something like that, but a little longer and what I'm hoping the direction the show takes which is not relying so much on the popular media, and more on getting the facts and trusting our own judgment when it comes to the news of the day.  I'm not sure how many people hear it live at this point, but if anything it'll make the archived show sound better, which I realize is a bigger audience at this point anyway.

It's interesting how the show continues to evolve, it started out as just something to do with my off hours on Sunday night, and is now a regular event (even though I've bailed the last two Sunday nights, which is my usual night) and something I put some effort into, and am starting to get a feel for how a free for all news show might sound better.  I'll freely admit that this show is still a work in progress, and might always be that way, any show could take any different direction which is why I try to keep it as general as I can, so that it is free to take whatever direction it might.  The ones that go off the beaten track tend to be the most interesting ones afterall.....
