Ep. 89 - New Year, HOF and the Queens Baseball Convention

Rising Apple Report took quite the hiatus to end 2014, but we are back strong with a jam-packed episode to kick off 2015! Sam Maxwell (@convertedmetfan) will host, with Editor Danny Abriano (@D_Abriano) along for the ride.

Joining them as well will be a couple representitives of the 2nd Annual Queens Baseball Convention, this weekend at Citi Field's McFadden's: Keith Blacknick- second in Command over at Metspolice.com and one of the co- founders of the QBC (@Mediagoon) and Dan Twohig, occasional contributor to MetsPolice.com and along with Keith and Shannon Shark (@metspolice), one of the co-founders of the QBC (@dtwohig). They'll give us insight on what to expect from this year's fan-organized Mets celebration and of course their take on all things Orange and Blue.

Items of interest this week include the continuing shortstop saga...or anti-saga...Mike Piazza's close-but-not-quite-yet Hall of Fame ballot announced today, the resigning of Buddy Carlyle, and of course, the QBC.
