After a tumultuous homestand, the Mets head on the road having collected wins from the last 2 games against the Pirates. They've got a new hitting coach in Lamar Johnson, and Jose "Papa Grande" Valverde is no longer a bullpen member. There's been a lot to discuss since we last gathered here, and to sort through it, Rich Sparago will host with Rising Apple writer Sam Maxwell along for the ride. Joining them this evening will be Taryn "The Coop" Cooper of "A Gal for All Seasons" and later on in the show, "Faith and Fear in Flushing's" Greg Prince.

Two others will join them on the program as well. The Coop will introduce her friend Albert to the program, who is looking to raise funds for his film "Extra Innings," and though a Yankee fan, we will give him a platform.

And screenwriter Brian Winett, a huge SF Giants fan, is looking to raise funds to buy the LA Clippers and turn them into a non-profit institution. Mr. Winett will join us at 8:30 to give us some insight into what he is looking to accomplish.

And of course, number 76 will be discussed, in context of 1976 with no Met ever having worn the number.

A very jampacked show for sure! So, please join us at 8pm ET on the 76th episode of the Rising Apple Report!
