Trayvon Martin is dead, and George Zimmerman is now a free man according to a jury of his peers in the state of Florida. 

So, what now? Is this yet another notch in the belt that is America's racial history? Will this be yet another one of those incidents like the many that came before that we will soon forget? Most importantly, was the not guilty verdict in this case a blemish on our new-found post-racial society? Will we allow Trayvon Martin to be yet another statistic?
