It's that time again!!!! Join us tonight for an epic night at the round table as we continue the conversation. As always R.I.G.H.T. Radio strives to address & bring light to issues that affect us. So when are we going to address the huge elephant in the room: RAPE. As a community, we know it exists, we know who are the perpetrators, yet we are silent. We hide our dirty truths behind family secrets. We are told to keep quiet about Uncle Johnny who likes to touch the little girls in the family. We don't want to confront Uncle Tevin who has a thing for little boys. We think it is okay that Auntie Angie has a thing for underage boys. We know that female & male teachers are sleeping with our children, taking their innocence. IT IS NEVER OKAY TO RAPE OR MOLEST A CHILD OR ADULT, MALE OR FEMALE. No excuses are needed, yet we give them & that is highly disturbing. When are we going to shift the blame on the people who are committing these horrible acts instead of saying what the victim should have did to prevent it. Have we no self-control? Are our men wild savage beasts that are out of control? Are our women that helpless & desperate to sleep with underage boys? If you have never been affected personally, then you know someone who has.
