Neil Johnston is a Canadian motorcycle adventurer who rides with his heart on his sleeve. In 2008 he crossed the Great White North astride a Ducati Multistrada, capturing the experience in prose that reads like a poem to the country. He recently completed a challenging ride with companions to the Arctic Circle, conveying the true meaning of North. Johnston is managing editor of One Wheel Drive. His dispatches can be found at www.onewheeldrive.net.

In the wake of post-9/11 paranoia in America, Glen Heggstad set out on a gritty adventure to experience the world through the eyes of those living in the developing world. The result is his just-released book called One More Day Everywhere: Crossing 50 Borders on the Road to Global Understanding (ECW Press). It vividly describes his 55,000 mile ride from Siberia to Africa via the Middle East, Gaza Strip, and Pakistan and his revealing encounters with those cultures.
