Dr. Smith is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.  He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Michigan State Medical Society.  Dr. Smith was elected chairperson of the Plastic Surgery Section at Munson, and serves on a variety of committees. Dr. Smith is also an adjunct professor in the Physician Assistant Program at Central Michigan University, and is the medical consultant for Cerise Nutraceuticals. He has authored a number of articles which have been featured in many professional publications.
