Amber Communications Group, Inc. (ACGI) is based in the Greater Phoenix, Arizona area. ACGI is the nation’s largest African-American publisher of Self-Help Books and Music Biographies. Under Tony Rose's direction, (ACGI) has led the movement towards modern Independent Book Publishing for the African American Self-Publisher and Independent Book Publisher as we know it today. In 2000, ACGI responded to the needs of the growing niche market of self-publishers and the needs of authors who wished to self-publish their books by founding Quality Press, now the nations largest "African American Book Packager." The Quality Press Division is led by Yvonne Rose, who is also an ACGI Associate Publisher. In 2004, Tony co-founded and became the Executive Director of The African American Pavilion at BookExpo America, bringing together as exhibitors and attendees a community of thousands of African American book publishers and book publishing industry professionals. In addition, ACGI has acquired/licensed paperback rights from Simon and Schuster, Harper Collins and Hyperion Books for ACGI global publishing and distribution.
