March 6, 2014 - LIVING A RICHER LIFE: with LaTonya So, Mother and Author of "Through the Eyes of a Mother: Surviving the Sin and Shame of Ghetto Life."
THIS WEEK'S MESSAGE: Sometimes we find ourselves in environments and relationships that we know in our hearts are not right, yet still have a hold on us. Ending a relationship can be a painful struggle. You will need faith in a higher power and someone to keep you on track and help you fill your life with what's missing. But ultimately the decision to end a relationship or to remove yourself from a toxic environment is yours alone. When all else fails, sometimes it helps to step back and ask yourself, point blank, what do you really want? Only you know the answer.
LaTonya So was born in Whiteville, North Carolina to a mother who unfortunately became a drug addict. The low income neighborhood that she lived had long been viewed as the local ghetto.
