Brian W. Smith is the award winning, best selling author of fourteen novels to include: DEADBEAT, Nina’s Got a Secret, and If These Trees Could Talk. 

After spending nine years in the U.S. Army, he earned three degrees (two Bachelor Degrees: Business Administration and Criminal Justice and a Master in Business Administration (MBA)) within ten years, and held several high ranking jobs in the corporate world until being laid-off in 2009 during the recent recession. He has been a full-time author since. . 

Brian has been named Male Author of the Year by multiple review organizations: OOSA Reviewers, 2012 and AAMBC 2011; and has been a Featured Author at numerous Literary Events (e.g., National Book Club Conference, National Black Book Festival, etc.).
