For months or maybe years people plan their trip to Thailand either for a visit or to live long term. They save their money and buy their ticket and read all about where they are headed. All excited they board the plane and set off on their journey expecting a transition as smooth as Thai silk.

After up to 30 hours of traveling later they step off the plane into a whole different world. And then the shock sets in. They are sleep deprived, hungry and jet lagged and they find themselves in a country that is as different as night and day from where they came from. Now in this condition they have to deal with things like a different language, a different currency and even a different climate.

So what can we do to help overcome the initial shock? In this episode JC gives some tips on how to smooth out the initial transition into your new environment to help make your first impression what you dreamed it would be.
