From the Pulpit: The Sacrament of Marriage
According to the US Census Bureau (2012), 60% of the adult population, or roughly 56 million American adults are and always have been single. The average American spends the majority of his or her life unmarried. Why is this? Why is the single state so prevalent, even in traditional Catholic circles? Why is it so seemingly difficult to find a spouse in today's world?
Is it fear? It is superficiality? Is it misunderstanding? Is it a lack of willingness? How do we find a spouse in today's modern world?
On this episode of From the Pulpit, we will look at why society has forsaken the sacrament of marriage. What is it about marriage that turns today's young person away from this most beneficial Sacrament? What happens when the honeymoon is over?
Join us as Father Casmir Puskorius, CMRI, beautifully explains what marriage is, why it is diminishing in today's world and what the proper Catholic view is of entering this most laudable state of life.
Single trads, this show is for you!
