PAST THE PAIN
Dedicated to Michael Jackson…I love you R.I.P)
It never really mattered anyway
but sometimes, they couldn’t really see me/
it never really mattered anyway
but sometimes, the pain was there/
calling me names so undeserved;
now look at how many care/
throwing stones out to get me,
in the end, tears were shared/
I only wanted happiness
I only wanted to sing and dance
Wanted to give you all great music
Kiss a hurting heart, hold lonely hands/
Did you ever see my soul shine? Did you ever know my heart?
Did you ever want to touch the whole world?
I was only trying to do my part!
I forgive you for your role
Anything negative you may have said
I will not leave this world in pain
Peace is all mine to have;
and I’m so glad!
Look into sky and see me
There are no debts or chains,
Soaring through the sky with Golden Wings
Standing by God’s unchanging hand!
Never knew that happiness was so sweet!
Never knew that joy was mine!
Never knew I could really enjoy sleep!
Never knew of things I didn’t have!
So glad, So glad!
sometimes
pain
was
there…..
