John Madden Football 2011 – Please Eliminate The Cheat Codes
I have always loved John Madden but each year the quality of the online play has been deteriorating due to cheat codes. I can’t seem to understand why the creator of Madden would even allow a cheat code? I would have figured that since the real life John Madden is such a purist when it comes to the game of football, his product would represent the integrity of the game.
Today I was enjoying a wonderful online win streak until some bonehead started using a cheat code that totally locked up my controller. Whenever the ball was snapped my defensive men would stop running to the ball even once I clicked on the player. The most disappointing aspect of Madden 2011 is that creators of the game are actually ruining one of the greatest electronic games of all times.
To The Creators of John Madden 2011
John Madden Football is no place for cheat codes! Save cheat codes for teenage shotem up’s like Socom and Assassins Creed, Madden Football is for orthodox football fans. The fix is really simple, disable all possible ways a player can cheat and you will restore madden to the days when number 21 patrolled the sidelines for the Cowboys.
The online feature of Madden has the potential to be something really special where as players from all around the world can test the skills, if it wasn’t for the BS cheat codes. The creators of Madden had to see this coming; no way can they say that allowing the codes would enhance online competition. If you give certain players a way to manipulate the game then consider it done.
Online play has deteriorated to the point that the only way to compete with the cheaters is to search Google for your own set of cheat codes, which I vow that I will never do!
Eliminate the ability to punch in a code in order to gain a competitive edge. Eliminate unrealistic juke moves that don’t exist in real life. Eliminate trophies that give online player special attributes. If the creators of Madden would hear my cry then they still have the opportunity to restore this game back to the product that I fell in love with 17 years ago.
Right now I wish there was a rival to the crap that is imitating the authentic John Madden Football. If you are sick of the cheat codes please post a comment or send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org Tyronne Jacques is the Author of 'How To Figh Google And Win' offered at http://www.punchgoogle.com
