The Danger of Staying in Egypt with Geneva Farrow

GENEVA FARROW was born in Brooklyn NY to a
teen mother. Due to her parents instability and
addiction to drugs she was raised by her grandparents
who did their best to give her a stable upbringing.
Despite these obstacles in her childhood Geneva
excelled socially and academically leaving Brooklyn for
Temple University in the Fall of 1998 ready to pursue
her dreams. She met another challenge when she
became pregnant in the fall of her sophomore year at
Temple. This did not deter her and she continued to
pursue her education defying yet another odd! Geneva
graduated on time with her classmates in 2002 despite
being a young single mom.
