"We" (the male gender) as a group do not have to "step up to the plate" as Woody put it: those irresponsible men who have children (especially those out-of-wedlock dads) are the ones who need to step up. Those of us (such as yours truly) who "keep it in our pants" and don't go around flinging seed in every womb are NOT responsible for raising those children from broken or inexistant homes.
Baby daddy drama is the exact reason why I have never dated a single mother and never would consider dating one if I were still single. A woman who has children (especially out of wedlock) is forever written out of my dating pool because I am childless.
