The Progressive Animal Shelter

The world of animal sheltering is constantly changing and hopefully improving.  We can and should expect more from our local shelters while striving to understand the challenges and limitations they face. 

I'll be talking to Stephanie Collingsworth, CPDT-KA about the progressive programs and protocol at Multnomah County Animal Shelter in Troutdale, OR.  MCAS is known for innovation and dedication to improving the shelter environment.  We'll chat about Open Paw, enrichment, the play group program and the challenges of the no-kill movement.
