Chris Massenburg is Dasan Ahanu Poet, Emcee, Writer, Playwright, Performance Artist, Lecturer, Educator and slam coach/founder/coordinator of Jambalya Soul Slam and slam champion team Bull City Slam Team out of North Carolina has had great control on his artistic career artistically and academically. An Assistant Professor of English - Saint Augustine's University, Resident Artist - St. Joseph's Historic Foundation/Hayti Heritage Center, Managing Director - Black Poetry Theatre and Member, Universal Zulu Nation - Black Jedi Chapter and has recently accepted a fellow at Harvard University where he is now attending.
