To honor the passing of an amazing man "Bunny Rugs", This is a REBROADCAST of a show that was done 2 years ago! It was so much fun and full of love.. He will be greatly missed and Bless up!

Bunny Rugs is lead singer for one of the longest running Reggae bands of all Time, Third World. The group was formed in 1973 and has released a total of 23 albums and Rugs himself has released 4 solo albums. Bunny Rugs has been nominated 10 times for the prestigious Grammy Awards as a member of Third World.  Collectively, Third World has received numerous awards, including most recently “New York City Ambassador Award” in November 2009 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the 1986 “United Nations Peace Medal”, and “Jamaica Music Industry Awards for Best Show Band” in 1992 and 1996 respectively. Rugs is also a spokesperson for the Jamaica Children’s Heart Fund, a cause he holds close and dear to his own heart.

Bunny Rugs and Raw Edge Productions announce the release of 3 massive reggae singles from his soon be released solo album “TIME”.
“LOVE IS BLIND” bounces across Sly and Robbie’s dub influenced Tune In Riddim.  This infectious one drop beat delivers a contagious hook that just makes you want to move. Rugs penned “LOVE IS BLIND”, a song about a woman heartbreaker, fi di man dem. “Cause I fall for your tricks every time, the more you confuse and perplex my mind. You keep saying everything thing is fine, you’re a sample girl you’re one of a kind.” “LOVE IS BLIND” was produced by Lowell “Sly” Dunbar, Robert “Robbie” Shakespeare & Rory Baker and recorded at One Pop Studio in Kingston, Jamaica.
