    A little bit about Redeemerwear(R)

    Hey guys and gals,
For those of you that are new to Redeemerwear® and our purpose, I thought that I would be transparent and share a little bit with you. Redeemerwear® started back in 1997 in kind of a dramatic way I guess you could say. It started back in 2004 when my wife and I lost our son Cieran during premature childbirth. I went through a 3 year period of depression that just about cost me my life and my marriage. Being the artist that I am, I tried to deal with my depression the only way that I knew how, which was to sit around chainsmoking and catatonically doodling in a sketchbook. Suffice to say, the doodles were extremely dark and ominous. One of my friends called me a tortured soul.Over time, not really realizing what I was doing, I started writing scriptures in and around the drawings. In hindsight, I guess it was God's way of reminding me that He was right there with me, saying " I lost my son too, lean on me and I will pull you through this. One day, probably about a year later,  I was looking at the drawings and had what I guess you could call an angel singing choir moment (Ahhhh!!!) where the bulb in my head which had been out for so long, just popped on and shined as bright as the sun, and I thought to myself, what if I put this stuff on  t-shirts. I got in the car and drove at warp 9.5 to my friend Ric's house and pitched the idea to him. After listening to the idea, he paused, and said, " this could be huge." , and Redeemerwear Apparel Co. ® was born. Now, mind you that I had no business plan and VERY little money. All I had was a wild hair and a spark of new life breathed into my heart that I had not felt in what seemed like an eternity. I had been so busy feeling sorry for myself and  punishing  myself for 3 years over the loss of our son...
Over the past 2 years I have made many costly errors as it relates to business which I guess came from a lack of knowledge about the subject. All I know is that I wanted to share the healing power of God's grace and the love of Christ with the world and to say thank you to the Lord for saving me in my darkest hour. I was introduced into a new world and have formed bonds with many wonderful people that I now consider family( you know who you are): people and bands that have so generously given their time and love to Redeemerwear®. When I started this business, I didn't even know that companies like Kerusso and C28, among others, even existed, but I thank God for them. I just knew that this was my calling. Every design I have produced since the company's inception, has been a labor of love and honor to my Savior, Jesus Christ.
I have talked to many people over the past couple of years, that have said that I needed to recreate what has worked for the other Christian clothing companies, but I wouldn't be being true to what the Lord has put in my heart.  For a short time I had considered changing the designs, but I saw a quote, forgive me, but I dont remember who said it, but the quote said that it is better to be a 1st rate version of yourself and be true to who God made you than to be a 2nd rate version of someone else and what God made them, and that is what I have been sticking to.
In the past 2 years, Redeemerwear® has grown to be much more than I had ever dreamed. It has become a ministry, a witnessing tool, and a vessel of hope for many people. We have sent t-shirts to many countries around the world. I never, in a million years,  wanted to be like my dad, the preacher, or even have my own business and all the headaches that come with it, but when the Lord called and said "Wake up!! I have a new purpose for you" , I couldn't ignore it. I had prayed that Jesus would just use me and give me a puropose, even if I didn't understand it, and He has given me just that. I have been told by many people that this couldn't be any more than a hobby, but I am not willing to accept that. Who knows if Redeemerwear® will ever amount to anything more than what it is, but I am OK with that, but I will die trying. If I can reach just one person with this business, I will die a happy man. I just want to help put Jesus Christ back into the wardrobe of the world, and to teach people that its not about being a "radical" Christian, but it is about standing firm for what is right and saying thank  you to the savior that gave me my life and liberty back. We are currently trying to find sponsors that are willing to give us a chance to make a difference and to grow the company. If you would like to help us spread the word about Redeemerwear®, we could use all the help we can get and are greatly appreciative of any assistance. If you havent been to the website yet, please feel free to visit

    Christian commerce initiative

Hey guys and gals, mike here,
I have a new idea. In the spirit of promoting Christian commerce, we would like to offer a new idea. In the past we have offered a sponsorship program and limited partnerships with Redeemerwear® for a small fee. We are now starting a Christian commerce network on the services page of our website. We would like to offer to help promote your business or services with your logo and a link to your website on our services page and all it will cost you is putting our logo and a link to Redeemerwear ® on yours. That's right, no money will exchange hands, just the hand of ture Christian fellowship. We believe that we, as the body of Christ should be out to help one another. If you would be interested in this equal exchange of promotion that will benefit all parties involved, feel free to send us a message and we can get the process started. You can email me on my mobile at redeemerwear@gmail.com if you have any questions. You can also leave comments with this blog. Thanks and God bless

    Redeemerwear Christian clothing

Hey guys, we all know the state of this world is going straight to hell. Our economy is crashing and alot of these wretched companies are putting advertisements for their useless products on the clothing of the nations youth and young adults as well as everyoine else. I for one am tired of seeing beer t-shirts, pot leaf t-shirts, etc. If you are a Christian this has to scare the hell out of you. If you would like to put your children in t-shirts that promote Jesus Christ, but stll look like a heavy metal t-shirt, I have the product for you, Redeemerwear Apparel Co. Go to www.redeemerwearapparelco.com for your rockin Christian t-shirts. Part of the profits go to children's charities and battered women. If you would like to just donate to the cause, there is a donate key on the Contact Us page of the website. You can also make the donation on our Myspace profile page at myspace.com/redeemerwearapparelco . 100% of all donations go stright to Charity., But I challenge you to go to the website and not want one of these t-shirts. They are bold, stylish, and have that edge that the new generation of heavy metal Christians need in this world today.  Peace and love in Christ, Michael Bacon, CEO, RedeemerwearApparelCo.(R)
