Welcome to Recovery Talk with Dr. Monteic A. Sizer. Dr. Sizer currently serves as President & CEO of the Louisiana Family Recovery Corps, a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation founded in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and tasked by the Louisiana Legislature to serve as the state's non-profit coordinating body for human recovery resources and services post-evacuation and sheltering. Dr. Sizer has extensive experience working within the non-profit community, with all levels of government and corporate CEOs to address a wide-range of issues. Dr. Sizer has particular expertise in disaster recovery, education, juvenile justice, community development and a number of related human service issues. Dr. Sizer earned a Ph.D. in Clinical-Community Psychology from the University of South Carolina at Columbia. Join Dr. Monteic Sizer on Recovery Talk as he explore the issues surrounding long-term human recovery and discuss ways to navigate the remaining roadblocks to progress for Louisiana.
