"Johnny's Two, What Do We Do?"  - Therapist Audrey Jung will discuss the various stages our children go through and how this impacts our relationship and what realistically is generally expected according to their particular developmental stage. She will talk about these stages and how this knowledge should influence the healthy parent in appropriate interactions:

Pre-operational Stage - ages 2 to 7
Concrete Operational Stage - ages 7 to 11
Formal Operational Stage - ages 11-16 and onwards

This information is also helpful as we investigate how our own childhood was managed. We will see inappropriate vs appropriate interactions with our parents and other adults in our environment, and how this has affected our adult life.
