  Join us as we talk with Genesis Press author Angela Weaver. Frost on My Window is a humorously poignant story about grieving and the thin line that separates friends, lovers, and family. The novel centers on an African-American advertising professional’s learning to let go of a first love while helping her older cousin come to grips with the death of her parents. Angela Weaver is a southern Girl by way of Tennessee, she grew up with jazz, country and the blues. An avid reader and occasional romantic optimist, she began writing her first novel in a dare and hasn't stopped since. After spending a few years living in the north and abroad, Angela now calls Georgia, home. On weekends, she can be found horseback riding in the mountains, reading a book under a tree, or working away in front of her computer. She is a published multicultural romance author and currently at work on her next goal, that being her next novel. She loves to hear from readers and can be reached via email at neri22@gmail.com

  Chatting with Promises Made Author Bernice Layton

  Join us as we chat with Bernice Layton. Like many women, Bernice was a single parent raising her daughter, working full time while and juggling both worlds far beyond 9-5. When she did find time for relaxation in the evening she read novels by various authors. Many years later, on a whim, She started typing on her laptop, day after day, for hours at a time. Soon she found she had been bitten by the writing bug as a plot, story and characters began developing before her eyes, she was creating a romance novel. As a Christmas gift, she received two influential books from her daughter, Writing a Romance Novel for Dummies by Leslie Wainger, and The Romance Writer’s Handbook, by Rebecca Vinyard. These books gave her insight and guidance. With the support and encouragement of her daughter and new husband she submitted her work to publishers, eventually finding a home with Genesis Press. Her first novel Promises Made was released to great success and now readers are anxiously awaiting her follow up novel Crossing The Line. Join us as we chat with Bernice about her journey and what she has in store in the future.
