Five Time Division III National Football Coach of the Year Lance Leipold of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Warhawk’s will be visiting RSG on April 17th to discuss his programs amazing run that includes FOUR NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS and a Runner-Up finish over the past five seasons (2007-2011).  Also, current/inaugural Georgia State U Head Football Coach Bill Curry will chat with RSG.  Both coaches will be discussing their recruiting philosophies, upcoming seasons, and ongoing spring practices. Leipold is currently in the midst of a 45 consecutive win streak which is the fifth longest in the history of NCAA football, only two short of the University of Oklahoma’s 47 game win streak compiled under Bud Wilkinson from 1953-1957.  During his 5 years leading the Warhawks, Leipold's record is an amazing 72-3! In starting their program in 2010 Curry brought to Georgia State his 17 years of experience as a head coach in the SEC (Alabama/Kentucky) and ACC (Georgia Tech)--including Coach of the Year awards in both leagues. During his 10 year NFL playing career Curry participated in three Super Bowls (I, III, V) and two Pro Bowls and was part of three championship teams (1965/1966-Packers and 1970-Colts). As a center, Curry snapped the ball to legendary quarterbacks Bart Starr and Johnny Unitas, and he played for two of the most highly-regarded coaches in professional sports history in Vince Lombardi and Don Shula. Justin Page will also be joining the Guys to get us prepped for the NBA Playoffs. www.realsportsguys.com
