"Grace Under Trial Part 2" Pastor Bob Sparks Nov 3, 2013

This is Part 2 of Pastor Bob Sparks’ message, “Grace Under Trial!” Pastor Bob continues to fully explain to us the difference between the grace of God and the Law of Moses and explains why grace is under trial. Pastor Bob shows us in the Word what God has brought us out of and what He has brought us into; from the bondage of the Law to His grace and truth through Jesus Christ! Pastor Bob let us know that grace produces freedom whereas the Law produced sin (bondage).

Pastor Bob goes on to explain in “Grace Under Trial Part 2” that the grace of God gives life but the law produces death!! The law causes us to run from God (to hide ourselves as Adam and Eve did in the Garden after they had sinned) but the grace of God causes us to run to God (“…to come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” – Hebrews 4:16)! The grace of God causes us to enter into the rest of Jesus; rest in Jesus’ finished work; we no longer have to work to be good or to please Him, or work to keep the Law of Moses – Jesus has already taken care of those things for us!!
