Yona Deshommes is a literary Powerhouse.Currently, she is the senior publicity manager of Atria Publishing Group, an imprint of the legendary publishing powerhouse Simon & Schuster, Inc She is responsible for the publicity and marketing plans for some of the most highly anticipated books of 2014. 

Yona Deshommes is responsible for coordinating publicity for Strebor Books, Atria's African-American literature line, and is the in-house publicity liaison for Cash Money Content Books. She has worked with myriad authors that include New York Timesbestselling authors Common (One Day It'll All Make Sense), TD Jakes (Let It Go) and Zane (Addicted). Her current and upcoming projects include Mayor for Life by Marion Barry with Omar Tyree, Things I Should Have Told My Daughter by Pearl Cleage, Black and White by Richard Williams and Glow by Rick James with David Ritz.

Mary Monroe is a book club and critic favoriite.Her books are loved by countless readers. Her  first novel  was THE UPPER ROOM was published by St. Martin's Press in 1985 and was widely reviewed throughout the U.S. and in Great Britain. An excerpt is included in Terry McMillan's anthologyBREAKING ICE. She endured fifteen years and hundreds of more rejection letters before I landed a contract for my second novel, GOD DON'T LIKE UGLY. It was published in October 2000 by Kensington Books.

Her latest book, Family of Lies, is one the most anticpated books of 2014.

Kim Gotbooks Knight is passionate about literacy. She is a book club president and book promoter. She is also the owner of Between The Lines Bookstore located the Baton Rouge area.
