What a PACKED show! Probably should've scheduled it longer, but we had wall to wall authors, beginning with the always gracious, and insightful, Georgia Beers, discussing her latest novel Starting From Scratch.

Please follow this link for the full show -- we ran over about 10 minutes!

Guest bios and websites:
Georgia Beers, who has been on Readings previously (obvious fan here!), is a multi-award winning author and just picked up a 2010 Goldie as part of the incredible collection The Outsiders, published by Brisk Press, which won in the Short stories/Essay Collection non-erotic category.

Her published works began with a short story in The Milk of Human Kindness, a short story anthology subtitled “Lesbian Authors Write About Mothers and Daughters”, edited by Lori L. Lake. Then she contributed to Stolen Moments, a Bold Strokes anthology. When she turned her pen to novels, she hasn't really looked back: Thy Neighbor's Wife (August 2003; Regal Crest Enterprises), Too Close To Touch (July 2006; BSB), Fresh Tracks (November 2006; BSB), Turning the Page (December 2006; Renaissance Alliance Press), Mine (November 2007; BSB), and Finding Home (July 2008; BSB). Her website is www.georgiabeers.com

Georgia then helped me wrap up the GCLS Awards and talk with several authors who called in, their first chance to connect with readers since hearing about their awards.
