She was always buying bows for her daughter and they really wouldn't last or go past the "Micay Test" as she called it, so she wanted to do something not only for that reason but also as people of color we really don't leave our children/families something to hold on to or have once we have left our earthly shell. December 2007 she lost her Mother, the second best grandmother she knew of. She was overwhelmed with the suddenness of losing her, so she took some time off because her heart was broken and she really couldn't focus on business in that aspect. We have been through a lot in terms of our infrastructure within the company. In the spring of 2008 we got back at it, we want our company to be known for the quality of our hair bows, something all of us can be proud of. We have also included bibs, onesies, children's tee shirts, and parent tee shirts. In the fall of 2008 she lost her Nana and still dealing with the loss of her Mother, our hearts are broken but not our spirit. LittleBowPeepGirls, LLC is dedicated to offering winsome, handcrafted hair bows in various styles. Our products also include bibs, onesies, and t-shirts for kids and Mom. Our offical website (www.littlebowpeepgirls.com) is being finished up but check out our facebook page for pics and if you don't see a particular item-we also custom make orders. LBPG's core value is "completing every princess' outfit". 00:14:00RaygonomicsnoShakema Green,Little Bow Peeop Girls,Girls Hair Accessories,Children Designer Brands,Raygonomics RadioLittle Bow Peep Girls is a web-based company that Shakema originally had an idea for in August of 2007, in which she wanted to include her two cousins. One for my “thin” clothes that reads like a designer library with labels like Ann Demeulemeester, Gucci, Catherine Malandrino, Issa and Naeem Khan. Another for my “extra juicy” plus size clothes from designers like Svoboda, Lafayette 148 and of course some Lane Bryant. As with most women, I have gone through many transitions, phases, ups and downs. Not too long ago I was a size 6, now I am, eh hem. But I’m not complaining! Having these 2 closets and going through many trials and tribulations has inspired me to start Fleurtle™ to help you blossom with out-of-the-shell style™! Fleurtle™ is the combination of the French word “fleur” which means flower and “urtle” for turtle. My family says that I look like a turtle and for a certain period of my life, I felt like I was living in a shell. But, one day as I sat at my desk, I had an epiphany! The marketing and branding guru Keke Dillard, a native Detroit-er, started off at the tender age of 16 developing small community websites for classmates in high school. Those small websites caught the big eye of California based marketing company PQ Enterprises who offered Ms. Dillard a career in the fast paced marketing industry producing marketing campaigns for high end e-commerce companies. Ms. Dillard’s uncanny ability to build up brands caught the attention of notables in her industry which lead to a 5 year span of working with various actors, actresses, models, performers, and celebrities in mainstream media. The work in mainstream media was a dream come true for Ms. Dillard but the lack of seeing more women like herself in various projects tugged at her heart strings. Keke Dillard, being a plus size women her self, struggled with working in a industry that included very few plus size women. In 2005 Keke created a organization called “Full Figures” that now 5 years later is the largest organization in the world dedicated to plus size women. Various projects has spanned from this creation including a plus size modeling agency “House of Curves”, an international empowerment convention “The Curvy Revolution”, a pageant “Miss Curve”, and several programs all dedicated to enrich the lives of plus size women so Ms. Dillard can see other women like herself in any aspects of her endeavors. Today Keke Dillard lives in the metro Detroit area managing her various plus size entities, producing high profile events, and continuously managing marketing and branding for various clients such as the United Nations Association of America.00:30:00RaygonomicsnoThe Curvy Revolution,KeKe Dillard,Plus Model Radio,828 Woman,Raygonomics RadioNamed one of Detroit’s most influential people under 30 Keke Dillard , The Curvy Revolutionista, is a Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, Motivational Speaker, Wome828 Woman Gets to Know Tiki Glamhttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/raygonomics/2010/06/25/828-woman-gets-to-know-tiki-glamCulturehttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/raygonomics/2010/06/25/828-woman-gets-to-know-tiki-glam/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/raygonomics/2010/06/25/828-woman-gets-to-know-tiki-glamFri, 25 Jun 2010 15:00:00 GMT828 Woman Gets to Know Tiki GlamTikiGlam Motto: I will always stay true to myself and go for my dreams and my destiny.
