Call in to speak with the host
Antonina Griffin went through hell as single teenage mom who subsequently fell into a series of abusive relationships. But when she pulled out of that horror, she did so big-time, launching the SCAR Foundation to support battered women, and producing a heart-wrenching video that rarely fails to elicit tears. “I decided to do it because I was angry. I get a lot of women and young girls coming to me, and they so often talk about what he said and what she said, and I thought, you never know what someone goes through in life,” Antonina tells Conversations Live host Cyrus Webb of the video. “But I didn’t want viewers to hear my anger. So I did it with cue cards and music so they viewers could interpret it however it came to them naturally.”
It's good to talk.
