Hundreds of years ago, white pilgrims landed in what would eventually become the United States. Legend has it that they broke bread in a feast with the people who lived in the land, and that event became the United States Thanksgiving. Fast forward to now. A group of LGBT pilgrims, breaking away from the Trump-Hysteria Caravan, have landed on the border of the same nation that birthed Thanksgiving. What awaits them? A party in power who fears and loathes them, threat of a wall and a militia. Tonight, we talk to several of these modern day pilgrims, and to Aaron Jackson and Chris Gris, activists, in the spirit of the first Thanksgiving, seek to help them.
