The trial for the accused killer of Trayvon Martin is under way in Florida and is being watched around the world and one thing is clear this trial is evoking strong feelings and memories in the Black community. So many times in the past when the world was not watching our community knew of cases just like this, some with many witnesses, but all of them afraid to come forward. The world remembers these incidents also , so not only is the defendant on trial but the justice system of this country is being evaluated as well. As a former law enforcement officer I’ve had my own views about this case from the beginning and I will share them during the show. Join us this Sunday, June 30 to discuss the trial and its implications and their effect on everyday life in our communities. Log on at www.blogtalkradio.com/rapsessions or call in at 347.857.2097.
