Each week we cover the real issues facing our town, our state and our country with unique perspectives and strong left-wing slant. We even cover international issues. It's a no-punches-pulled rant and rave. Plus we love it when you join in and vent your spleen too.

You read that correctly because we are broadcasting Rant n Rave Radio tonight. Due to some commitments ie the crew are doing paid jobs the show wouldn't have gone ahead tomorrow.
So it's being broadcasted tonight! We don't want you to miss out on listening to the rants n raves and venting your spleen at the same time.
Broadcasting tonight so make sure you've bookmarked the broadcast page!

It's been a huge week in politics. The start of the Queensland elections proper and the interplay in the federal parliament has given Gregg and I lots of awesome material to work with, let alone the stuff from Point of Order. We'll get into the Point of Order in more detail on Sunday's show.
The Minister for Activities un-Australian will be in to share his warped, erm alternative, uh different, perspectives on Australia's politics and international engagement.

It has to be said that we’re anticipating a huge show. Bigger than usual with a few additional rants n raves and an additional campaign to talk up.
And Rant n Rave Radio would like to send out a big thank you to all the fire-fighters and emergency services that have been working their asses off around the clock. We also want to send a huge shout out to people and agencies helping the animals.
The Agenda will cover a few key issues at the moment as well as a little bit of a satirical tribute to the Liberal Party’s implosion and Nelson decision to quit politics at the next election. We’ll be covering issues like climate change and government’s strange behaviour on the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme (CPRS), in-attendance versus postal elections, and the No Clean Feed campaign.
In the Campaigns to Note segment we’ll be covering the 10c deposit campaign. Tune in to find out which campaign we’re going to really talk up to getting it happening.
Tomorrow’s show is going to be broadcast from our beloved studio.
TUNE IN FROM 5pm AEDT.

WTF with Point of Order indeed!
The natural disasters unfolding in Queensland and Victoria led the Prime Minister to cancel Question Time. However, as it was noted by Senator Bob Brown (TAS, Greens) the best thing for the nation’s representatives was to be in the parliament to ensure the necessary measures were being put through with the proper processes.
So without any Question Time to talk about and really no clowns to highlight, although Wilson ‘Iron Bar’ Tuckey always seems to be able to say or do something stupid. Which without it we’d have no material.
To our loyal listeners please accept our sincerest apologies.
"Point of Order" will be back during the next sitting of Parliament from 23rd February.
