    The Last Show of the Year is definitely happening!

    It will be broadcast live from the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.  Since the show is being broadcast from Queensland, and since they don't have daylight savings the show will start at 5pm local time.  In NSW, Victoria, ACT and Tasmania the show will start at 6pm.

    The show is going to be 2 hours long featuring the usual segments; an effort to get through to Aunty Sue Rankin for the ceremonial hunger strike and a great line up in the  "Sir! Point of Order!" segment.

    A dramatic year in politics needs a big show

    Australian politics has experienced an incredible roller coaster ride this year.  And let alone the global political roller coaster ride with Gordon Brown's Labour Party in the UK and the election of President-elect Barack Obama in the USA.

    There's so many things to discuss and point out that the last show of the year - 28 December 2008 - is going to be a 2 hour blockbuster.

    Dealing with myriad of issues is going to be a challenge! But will you be up to the challenge?

    It doesn't matter what part of the world you're in I want to hear your thoughts and ideas about the issues facing the globe.  Of course the show is going to have an Australian focus, and when we cover global matters, it'll have an Australian slant.

    Don't let using Skype scare you - ring in and talk back.

    I have another announcement to make about the last show for 2008.  But I'm saving that for later!

    Ok so I totally f__cking suck. Thinking I was on live, in reality I wasn't.  Don't know why.

    With that aside, Sunday's show is going to be a block buster that will be 2 hours.  That way I get to vent my spleen for longer about the issues going under the radar; and recoup a lost show for you long suffering listeners.

    In the meantime, send in some ideas and suggestions for The Agenda segment, an important issue that you think is a major issue for your local municipality or council, your state or Australia wide.
